We Should Instead Pray for God’s Strategy

For every battle God has a strategy, so stop praying about the problem and start praying for the strategy. The vision will always be greater than the one who is called to fulfill it! David said, “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it” (Psalms 127:1). Jesus is a carpenter; He knows the weight-load you can handle, the materials required and how it will all fit together in your life. Could it be that He’s already been speaking in your head for months? Has He been revealing His plan to you, but you’ve been afraid to act on it? Stop collecting opinions and get alone with Him. Shut the door and wait in His presence until you receive a “clear word.”
